AVIS GETS IN ON THE ACTION AT THE AMASHOVA DURBAN CLASSIC CYCLING RACE  

Brace yourself this October for an exhilarating one-day, white-knuckle cycle through KwaZulu-Natal’s pulsing cities, Pietermaritzburg and Durban, as Avis Rent a Car and Avis Van Rental show their presence, having once again been named official vehicle rental partner for the 32ndTsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic cycling race.

The Amashova Durban Classic cycling race will take place on Sunday, 21 October 2018, starting at Pietermaritzburg’s City Hall and ending at Suncoast Casino on Durban’s Golden Mile. This 106km road race allows a shorter 65km and 35km fun ride, catering to cyclists at all skill levels. Avis will be offering logistical support to cyclists from making deliveries to water points to being on hand to assist cyclists along the way, and at the cut-off points.

Showing their continued support and long-standing relationship with the Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic cycle race, Avis Brand Ambassadors will also join in on the fun as competitors. They will also assist at the Avis refreshment station, situated in Carto Ridge and Avis Power Zone 1km before the finish line, spurring the cyclists on and ensuring they stay hydrated as they traverse the route.
